Description
Robins and Cedar Waxwings are typically seen together during the winter in North Carolina. On this day, the flash of orange caught my eye, and then when I zoomed in with my camera lens, I noticed all the waxwings. Both species like to eat berries, but on this day they seemed more interested in the pine cones than the surrounding holly berries. They typically travel in big flocks and once they have their fill of food, they move on to someplace else.
