Description
In doing some research on the dragonfly, I discovered that, in general, they represent change in perspective of self realization. Why? They tend to scurry across the water, which represents going beyond what is on the surface. Because of their iridescence, they are able to present themselves in different color, which represents the end of one's self created illusions and a clear vision of reality. Their huge eyes represents uninhibited sight and ability to see beyond limitations of human self. Because their adult life and ability to fly only lasts a few months, they are a symbol of living in the moment and to the fullest. Fascinating!
